Mr. & Mrs. Pilcher | A Wedding to Never Forget!

Caitlin & Lathan’s Big Day

Let me tell you that Caitlin and Lathan know how to celebrate a wedding! The Pilcher wedding was definitely one I will always remember. You may remember Caitlin from a previous post, where I posted about her bridal session.

Their day started out with getting ready. The bridesmaids wore matching floral robes, and the guys matched in their white button-down shirts, suspenders, and blue dress pants. For shoes, Lathan decided to wear his cowboy boots so that he stayed as comfortable as possible in the Texas sun.

The girls wore blue, pink, and white floral silk gowns, perfect for taking a group picture together! The bridesmaids had their makeup done, all with natural makeup and bright wine lipstick.

After they were ready, Caitlin had her bridesmaids assist her in putting her garter on, as well as her shoes. Her dress was quite full, so they were glad to assist her in doing that. Once Caitlin was dressed, she did a first look and saw her dad before the wedding. She didn’t do a first look with Lathan however, as they wanted to save that moment for the ceremony.

Instead of doing a first look, they decided to do talk through the blinds on the cottage window. You can see pictures of Caitlin looking through the blinds and Lathan with his groomsmen talking with her in the gallery below.

Firetrucks & Fireworks!

After getting ready, Caitlin walked down the aisle. She glowed in her wedding gown, and the ceremony went beautifully. Following, we took formals and bride and groom portraits. During the portraits, Lathan wanted to capture a few moments with his fire truck! This was such an awesome surprise and I was more than happy to capture this for the beautiful newlyweds.

As the night went on, the reception followed the portraits and then the sky became dark, and Caitlin and Lathan celebrated their love by the lake. They released a floating lantern into the sky, followed by fireworks! This was absolutely the coolest way to exit a wedding I have ever seen.

Thank you for inviting me, and may your love story go on forever!
