The Malchar’s | A Traditional Catholic Wedding

A Church Wedding

Not very often, I get to go into the house of God to celebrate marriage. Nowadays other venue options are so popular, it is pretty rare that a couple gets married in a church. With that being said, it was great capturing a wedding in God’s house. Nora and Tyler decided to stay traditional in their wedding day and ensured that their wedding details were absolutely perfect!

The day started out with getting ready. They had quite a large wedding party, so it was fun to be able to capture so many of their friends with them on their special day. Nora chose the most beautiful wedding dress, featuring a very long, mermaid styled skirt. The top of the dress featured lace, creating an elegant but simple design.

Nora and Tyler decided not to have a first look, as they wanted to stay truly traditional. Nora did however have a first look with her dad, which took place immediately after she got ready. In the meantime, Tyler made sure that he put on finishing touches, such as his shoes and watch, to walk down the aisle.

Now since the couple decided not to have a first look, Nora walking down the aisle was the first time Tyler had seen her that day. Tyler had a smile on his face that stretched to meet his ears, as Nora walked toward him.

The Malchar’s Catholic Wedding Details

Nora and Tyler didn’t forget one detail during their wedding. Their decorations were absolutely classic and stunning, just as their entire wedding followed in suit.

For Tyler and the groomsmen, they sported classic navy suits, paired with the bridesmaids wine red maxi dresses. The wedding party together looked absolutely stunning and definitely stood out in the gorgeous white backdrop of the church altar.

While walking down the aisle, the flower girl laid out red and white rose petals for Nora to walk across. This created such a classic and adorable scene, to prepare Nora to meet Tyler.

The service was beautiful, and the gathering of their closest friends and family were so heartwarming.

Following the church service, we took family portraits and then continued onto the reception, which took place in a barn. The reception featured a large tiered wedding cake, gorgeously coordinated wedding details and table centerpieces, and a lot of love between guests.

The couple did their first dances, enjoyed dancing with their guests, and ending their spectacular catholic wedding with a sparkler exit.

Congratulations, Tyler and Nora!
