Why do I always blog about wedding details?

Details, details, and more details. We can never get enough of those gorgeous wedding details!

Why?

When you first get engaged your first thought is “YES!!!” and then you start thinking about the little things that you absolutely need included on your wedding day.

What color will the guys’ suits be? What about the bridesmaids’ dresses? The florals?

Every bit of a wedding has so much thought and planning put into it. Hours of planning and trying to match everything together happens behind the scenes, in order to make the day’s details picture-worthy.

Your details should tell us about you!

I know how much planning goes into your wedding, I really do!

I got married myself, but moreover, I have captured so many weddings, and one thing that can make a wedding especially unique is the details. For example, check out this wedding detail below. You may have seen this picture in a previous blog, but it just goes to show how important details are in expressing who the couple is.

Weddings can all run together sometimes, so this is why details are important. Are you going to have a firetruck like the Pilcher’s? Are you going to have a rose petal exit like the Tatum’s?

Your wedding is all about you, and your details should express that!

Mr. Pilcher was a firefighter, so they wanted to include that in their portraits and their wedding. The Tatum’s didn’t want to do a traditional sparkler exit, so they did rose petals instead.

During your wedding, details are my favorite in-between moments. So many stories can be told by looking at the details in a couple’s wedding. Pictures of the details will help you treasure the wedding, so I always include a variety for your wedding day overview. Overall, details ARE your wedding. They’re what brings the whole day together and tells your story.
