Charles + Ashley // Tyler TX Vintage Wedding

Love at First Sight

You may recognize seeing this spectacular venue, The Folmar, in posts past. Why?! Because it’s absolutely stinkin’ gorgeous!! This Tyler TX Vintage Wedding was absolutely no different.

When Charles + Ashley first inquired, I read the inquiry and saw that they were going to have their pup (first win) and that they were coming to The Folmar!

This wedding day was everything that you’d ever ask for. Classic, vintage, but with modern and gorgeous black, and teal accents. It helps that the little chapel has these absolutely gorgeous teal doors on it as well!

This Tyler TX Vintage Wedding Had ALL the Details

When we were getting ready, we walked in the room and gasped. Charles + Ashley had planned a darker, more intimate, but still vintage and classicly styled elopement.

Well, their details were definitely planned out to a T.

We were so excited to be able to capture these extravagant details, which made taking these detail pictures below pretty darn easy.

Ashley’s wedding fit the style of this Tyler TX vintage wedding just perfectly. It featured a large square-shaped jewel, fashioned in the middle of a gold ring. These ring shots feature just some of the beauty that this ring had.

Every detail of this wedding was so thought out – the old vintage stopwatch, the black garter – tying together this wedding ever so perfectly. I truly admire how they took a vintage-looking venue and gorgeous flowing dress that would come out of a traditional wedding, and then peeped in details of black to fit their taste.

A layflat shows the stunning details of this Tyler TX vintage wedding.

As you look through all of the details of the wedding below, admire the different small elements they have implemented to really tie together the aspects of this wedding. It truly was a classic, smaller elopement-styled wedding, but made vintage with the finest details.

I truly appreciate when couples go to such amazing lengths to decorate their wedding (and themselves – man they looked great!), as it shows off their wedding pictures just the more.

Shout-out to The Folmar for never-ending beauty I get to photograph at my weddings. Lastly but not least – thank you to my associate shooter, Ashley Roberts, for leading this gorgeous wedding day.
