Sandy toes and Emerald ocean waves for this Destin Florida beach wedding
Cameron and Brandy are one fun couple and their wedding was on for the books! I was so excited to hop on the road and join them for their beach wedding in Destin, Florida.
Their navy and blush wedding was such a joy to be apart of. From the jokes and silly poses, and the fake first look with Cameron and Brandy’s friend Brian, to the reception games at the end of the night. This Destin Florida beach wedding was a warm adventure.
Florida had a little surprise for us, it rained the whole day! They say rain on your wedding day is good luck. The rain washes away the past so the happy couple can start their marriage anew. Luckily just before the ceremony started the skies opened up and the sun began to shine. All that rain brought us a beautiful Florida sunset.
Getting Ready
Brandy started off her morning getting ready for her Destin Florida beach wedding surrounded by her bridesmaids and family. They get their hair and makeup done and relaxed with a drink in their pastel satin robes. Sipping rosé they chatted about the upcoming “I do”.
First Look Fake Out
Before walking down the isle family and friends had a little joke they wanted to play on Cameron. He was waiting across the pool to see his bride to be be for the first time. But instead of his bride when Cameron turned around he was greeted with his Brian wearing a wedding gown instead!
Once the joking was over the couple got together to share a moment alone. They stood back to back and read the letters they had written to each other.
With sand in their toes and a fresh scent of rain on the beach guests took off waited on the famous Emerlad shore Destin, Florida beach to watch the pair start their forever together.
The Bridesmaids wore beautiful dusty mauve colored floor length gowns and held a bouquet of roses that had the slightest touch of pink, and the groomsmen wore khaki pants and crisp white button ups. Everyone was barefoot, as you should be, enjoying the soft white sand of Destin beaches.
During the ceremony Cameron + Brandy layered sand in a bottle to show the unity between two families becoming one. Cameron carried Brandy away in his back towards the beach where we took portraits with a beautiful sunset behind them.
After portraits Cameron and Brandy were welcomed into their reception with cheers. They danced the night away before playing a little game of Bride and Groom trivia and smashing some cake into each others faces!
