The Blomster’s Intimate Family Wedding Details

Sometimes weddings are 300 people, and sometimes they’re 30. No matter the size, the day is once-in-a-lifetime and quite emotional for everyone, and that’s what I love capturing.

Jeff & Meredith decided to have a small and intimate family wedding. They picked out a gorgeous venue, dress, and stunning florals, but didn’t have to worry about all of the wedding details, as they only invited their close family and friends.

Meredith’s wedding dress was decorated with lace and trimmed neatly to created a soft and elegant neckline. Her wedding veil was cathedral length, sweeping the floral behind the new Mrs. Blomster. The details of the dress were so gorgeous, as they danced with lace from the neckline, all the way down to the floor. Her cut of the dress was complimenting and more form-fitting, leaving a little bit of room towards the bottom, tapered to the floor.

The floral that Meredith chose consisted of white and pink roses, complimented with a few accented purple roses. Ivory heels decorated with a knot complimented the ivory lace wedding dress well.

Close family and friends helped the bride put on her dress and veil, as she got ready for the biggest day of her life. After getting ready, we sat in the bridal suite and took a few bridal photos.

Meanwhile, Jeff was getting ready with his close friends and family as well. He chose to wear a grey suit, matched with a light blue undershirt and a boutonniere to match the bride’s bouquet.

The Big Day’s Events

After they were done getting ready, the couple got ready to walk down the aisle. The groom walked down first, shortly followed by the bride. The ceremony was short and simple, yet included the members of their family well through a unity candle-lighting ceremony.

After the ceremony, the couple and I took some time to explore their venue and get portraits done. We, of course, had to take formal and silly family pictures as well. As the night ended, Jeff and Meredith jumped into their car with “Just Married” written on the back and drove away to live their happily ever after.
