Getting Ready for the Big Day

What’s better than a gorgeous bride, beautiful dress, and gorgeous venue to take pictures at? Pretty much nothing that I can think of!

Bridals are one of my favorite parts of getting ready for a wedding. I love getting to spend time with the bride the day before the wedding, really giving us time to get to know each other and of course grab some fabulous pictures of just her by herself.

Planning a wedding of course takes quite a while and can be quite stressful, but I love that that all goes away once a bride gets in her dress and gets ready to walk down that aisle.

Even bridals help brides relax a lot. Putting on the dress, getting your hair and makeup done; Not only do you feel like a princess, but it gives you a break from thinking about last minute wedding to-dos.

Kelli’s Bridal Session

For Kelli’s bridals, we were fortunate enough to use The Milestone in Denton, TX. This wedding venue is absolutely gorgeous, featuring a plantation styled home, with pillars and breathtaking views.

Walking through the hallways, we had plenty of photo opportunities, between using the vintage hardwood floors, spiral staircase, and of course the back porch as well.

Below, Kelli stands by the mansion’s staircase, featuring those vintage wood floors, hand rails, and large plantation windows in the background.

Kelli kept her wedding look simple but elegant. Her bouquet featured pink and white roses and her makeup was styled to look natural. Around her neck, a pearl necklace complimented the delicacy of her wedding gown.

The dress she chose was absolutely perfect, featuring a lace bustier, a rhinestone belt, and a mermaid styled skirt. The skirt gave us a great excuse to spin around the halls of the mansion!

Overall, this venue provided us many great pictures for Kelli’s bridals, and I absolutely recommend using this venue if you’re in the area. Congratulations, Kelli!
