The Brindley Wedding | Coordinating Wedding Colors

The Brindley's cake featured white with accents of maroon.

The Brindley’s Wedding Details

Planning a wedding includes a lot of time and a lot of detail. What color should the bridesmaids wear? Should we have bridesmaids? What are our other colors going to be and how are we going to include them?

Well, Blaire and Tyler just nailed their color scheme perfectly. They had maroon, white, blues, all tied together in the most perfect way. They did a fantastic job coordinating between their cake, bouquet, suits, bridesmaids, and even their venue. The Brindley wedding colors just popped against the scenery of their wedding venue.

When planning your wedding colors, you have to consider everything included in the wedding. Not only do the bridesmaids dresses and bouquets have to match, but they have to look good with the venue. If you have a white venue and a white dress and a white bouquet, then your pictures will be very focused on white, giving a more “light and airy” look. Darker wedding colors like maroon and navy give the pictures a darker or more natural tint as seen below.

This wedding venue was more rustic, so this couple used maroons and blues to make themselves pop against the rustic backdrops.

As shown on their cake above, they coordinated maroon as an accent color in the roses. These roses matched the colors of the bridesmaid dresses as seen below.

The bridesmaids show off their bouquets.

In the picture above, Blaire poses with her bridesmaids in a flying-V, creating a very contemporary and artistic looking portrait.

The roses in the bridesmaid’s bouquets are deep red, matching the maroon color of their dresses. On the ends, each bridesmaid is wearing an off-the-shoulder white blouse, coupled with a flowing maroon skirt. This combination is perfect, matching them back to Blaire’s white dress.

To differ from the bridesmaid, Blaire holds a white rose bouquet, instead of maroon roses.

Altogether, this bridal party was perfectly coordinated. The groomsmen wore navy blue suits, with white boutonnieres and maroon ties to match the bridesmaids.

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Brindley!
