Mr. & Mrs. Tatum | A Winery Wedding

A Winery Wedding

One of the most exciting parts of wedding photography is the opportunity to travel to many unique venues. I’ve been to vineyards, churches of course, barns, and plantation houses. Every client that inquires naturally has a different wedding style in mind. In that, there is never a boring moment when I’m working with my couples.

This wedding was in a winery, as you have probably noted. As each couple chooses a venue, they set the tone for their wedding style and of course their pictures as well.

Sarah & Matt chose a winery, so I had the opportunity to capture really awesome detail shots featuring different spots in the winery itself. The dress shot above was taken in the storage room, where they keep their bottles of wine.

I took a few detail pictures here, including the wedding dress, groom’s shoes, tie, and even a few ring shots.

Wedding Details

After the wedding was over, we returned to the wine cellar to take a few wedding portraits as well. While we did enjoy the inside of the winery, the outside of the winery was absolutely magical.

As seen in this bride and groom portrait above, the exterior of the winery was absolutely gorgeous, featuring stone work and even a small garden area for us to take more portraits in.

This couple loved the darker stonework of the winery and decided to incorporate darker colors into their color scheme.

Sarah chose to have maroon in her wedding bouquet, and nicely matched it with a maroon lipstick. Matt wore a maroon tie to match Sarah, and also had a matching handkerchief.

As seen in Sarah’s bridal pictures, this couple is very classy, and their wedding included nothing less. All of the decor was beautifully coordinated, tying together a clean white palette with maroon accents.

Thank you, Matt & Sarah, for such a beautiful wedding to capture. You all made my job very easy!
