Our Vineyard Engagement
For engagement sessions, there are of course a lot of location choices. Some couples choose to have them in cities to create an urban style, some choose to have them in gorgeous countryside vineyards.
Alana and Joe decided to have a vineyard engagement session featuring their adorable pup and their favorite sports team.
And let me tell you…I’m in love!
When preparing for an engagement session, usually outfits are a huge decision for the couple. I always suggest something that pops from the background and of course something more formal. This couple absolutely nailed their engagement session outfits.
Their first outfit with their pup included a maroon dress and soft grey/blue suit. They looked absolutely charming, and the colors they wore made them pop from the bright green vineyard backdrop.
We decided to pose a few pictures with their pup of them standing, and of course some of them sitting as well. While in the vineyard, they decided a bottle of wine would of course be appropriate, so we had a mini picnic and relaxed in the countryside.
Our Second Outfit Choice
To change up the look with the couple’s pictures, the couple decided to change their outfits. Alana changed into a soft white maxi dress, while Joe changed into a light blue button-down shirt and jeans. The couple just glowed in these two outfits, fitting our light and airy picture styling perfectly.
During the second part of the session, we focused on the couple, giving them a variety of pictures from closeups showing their love, to farther away portraits showing off the setting as well.
We ventured onto the road, into the vineyards, and even into an empty field. The sun was setting, giving us a perfect light glow to the portraits we took that evening.
Overall, this vineyard engagement session was spectacular. Alana and Joe’s love glowed in front of my lens, and I don’t think they wanted to be anywhere else except with each other.
