Tatum + Mike// A wedding at Agua Linda Farms in Tubac, AZ

October in Arizona can be nice or 100*. Luckily for Tatum and Mikey’s wedding, the weather was insanely beautiful, with the most magical light. I’ve been looking forward to the now-infamous 10/10/2020 weddings all year, and theirs was a dream at Agua Linda Farms.

Their wedding day was what a country couple’s wedding dreams are made of! They had a custom livestock brand, mountains in the background of their portraits, and an epic morning after shoot with cattle making an appearance.

Down to the Details

Each detail was thought out perfectly. Cotton was brought in from Tatum’s family cotton farm and Mikey’s wedding ring was passed down from his grandfather.

The tables were lined with lace and numbered with actual cattle brands.
Tatum had more cotton woven into her hair, in her bouquet, and lining the aisle as she walked down. Her grandma, the flower girl, even threw tuffs of cotton instead of flower petals as she skipped down the aisle.

Ceremony Traditions

Mikey and Tatum had a classic ceremony officiated by their friend Tylor and surrounded by all of their friends and family. The sun set perfectly against the mountain as they said “I do”. They chose to burn their custom brand into a sign that they had all their guests write their well wishes for them on.

The end of the aisle beer smash was a last-minute idea at their rehearsal, and I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate for these two!

Country Details

Tatum did a gorgeous job curating the perfect colors to not only represent them, but also Fall with a side of western flair. Shades of orange and rust were the icing on the cake as each detail fell into place.

From day one, Tatum talked about how the mountain view behind Agua Linda Farm was incredible. Boy was she right! I could have kept them there all night if the sun had not gone down.

The Mountain view extended into their outdoor reception with a picturesque view. Creating the perfect backdrop for their guests to mingle during cocktail hour and enjoy the stunning surroundings of Tubac right from the back yard of the Agua Linda Farm.

I talked Tatum into waking up early the next morning for a set of Sunrise photos. Morning after sessions will ALWAYS be a good idea in my book. Yes, your hair may have fallen, your make-up may be not as perfect, and your dress may be a little dirty, BUT how many times do you get to watch the sunrise the first day as husband and wife? Only once! You lose a few hours of sleep, BUT these are moments you won’t get back. I was so happy to have the extra time with Tatum and Mikey!

Congratulations Tatum & Mikey!
Enjoy reliving your day!
